Candy tin
In 1913, a single Lithuanian proprietor in Šiauliai began producing caramels. The business grew into a candy factory that was unique in the mostly foreign controlled manufacturing sector. To highlight this, the company was named „Rūta“ after a culturally significant plant to Lithuanians and the candy tins were decorated in yellow, green and red.
